A Nantwich man has turned his love of the town into a new venture specialising in property sales, lettings and home-staging.
Jonathan Welford, 49, has launched a business in his own name to help people find their dream home in Nantwich and surrounding areas while helping others to make the most of their current property by restyling and decluttering.
He said: "I am a self-confessed lover off all things Nantwich and am proud to call it home. I adore our growing market town and all its delightful eateries, boutiques and bars.
"Living in Nantwich is like being on holiday, you don't need to go away. The property market is very buoyant with people aspiring to live in the CW5 postcode area and to be part of the vibrant community where 'walking into town' is a real pleasure.
"I want to help them achieve their property dreams and if buying and selling is not an option, really make their current house a home. I can help them maximise the potential without selling up. The Kingsley village resident has notched up more than 20 years in the property industry working for Cheshire-based sales and lettings firms.
He is a founding member of Nantwich Lions and runs the social media platform Lovely Nantwich which has over 7,000 followers across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Now Jonathan Welford Sales and Letting boards are already popping up around South Cheshire - quirkily branded 'The One with a Moustache.'
He added: "People often distinguish between my husband and I as Jonathan - the one with a moustache. It raises a smile while being an eye-catching trademark.
"And I was thrilled to receive my first listing this week - a delightful family home in Shavington for £375,000.
"I am to be the estate agent with a difference in that people will always deal with me and not a call centre or another member of staff.
"The local housing market is extremely busy and for my first five listings I am offering a flat fee of £1,000 plus vat for sales as well as highly competitive fixed rate deals for landlords."
